Who we are

We are a lunch restaurant based in Helsinki, the capital city of Finland. The name of our restaurant is Kuusenkerkkä, and we serve Finnish menus.

Audit log data for administrative users (admins)

Whenever admins log in or perform managerial tasks, such as updating a page or modifying a theme, their activities are logged. The collected information includes, but not limited to: Date, username and source IP addresses. This information is solely used for security and auditing purposes, so we can detect security issues and data breaches, and inform them in a timely manner.

Data about hacking attempts targeting our website

The admin part of our website utilises a Security plugin which is capable of detecting, banning and showing attempts to hack the site. The collected information includes, but not limited to: Aggressors IP addresses and countries. We collect this type of information solely to ensure the website is safe from malicious attacks.

Hashed email string for Gravatar service

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/.

Cookies for admins

When admins log in to our website, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if their browsers accept cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when they close their browser.

Also upon logging in, we will also set up several cookies to save the admins login information and their screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If admins select “Remember Me”, their logins will persist for two weeks. If admins log out of their accounts, the login cookies will be removed.

If admins edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in their browsers. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article they just edited. It expires after 1 day.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Administrative users can also see and edit that information.

Only the administrative user account is store to manage the Admin part of the site. The version of our core software, security and Audit log functionalities also comply with GDPR legislation.

We utilise a security and an Audit log plugins, capable of notifying us when serious data breaches and violation occurs, so we can inform users and advisory authorities about breaches in a timely manner.
